Twisted Tower Patch Notes
Day-one Steam news, current build 1.0.3, and where to report bugs.
Twisted Tower released on Steam PC on August 18, 2026. Thomas Brush’s first-day Steam post, titled Day One Updates, is the patch-note source of truth until a longer changelog appears. This wiki page restates that post, the Out Now announcement, and the Discord invite. It does not invent a bullet list the developer has not published.
Current build
As of the August 18 evening post, the live client is build 1.0.3. Brush wrote that several launch bugs already had fixes pushed, and that players who had not updated since unlock should do so. 1.0.4 was described as landing soon. Verify the build in Steam’s game properties if a fight, save, or achievement feels broken, then restart before assuming a wiki strategy failed.
What day one actually said
The post celebrated a Very Positive Steam rating and a Popular New Releases chart appearance. It asked players who were enjoying the climb to leave a Steam review. It then pivoted to work: unexpected issues popped up, fixes were already shipping, and the best bug inbox is the official Twisted Tower Discord rather than unstructured store comments.
There is no public itemized 1.0.3 table (no “shotgun damage +10%” line). If a third-party site lists exact numbers, treat them as unverified until Atmos Games or 3D Realms posts them. This page will expand when a dated changelog exists.
How to update and report
- In Steam, verify integrity of game files after a patch.
- Confirm you are not launching an old demo app (the preview lived under a separate demo listing).
- Join the official Discord linked from Steam news (
discord.gg/SMkQeQRngin the developer posts) and describe the bug with floor name, toy loadout, and whether Adventure Plus is on. - Keep playing on the current build while you wait; day-one language was “several fixes have already been pushed.”
Launch commercial notes (not a patch, still relevant)
The Out Now news offered 10% off at unlock. The Steam store still showed an introductory discount through September 1 at the time of this check, with a $14.99 / discounted $13.49 US-style list (regional prices vary). English is the listed Steam language for interface, audio, and subtitles. Steam Cloud, full controller support, adjustable difficulty, camera comfort, and 18 achievements are store features—not patch extras.
Pre-launch, Brush also announced a black-and-white Noir mode in the “8 days until” news. That is a settings feature, not a post-launch DLC. Configure it under Settings.
Reception snapshot
Steam sat Very Positive on day one (about 96% of a few hundred reviews in the first 24–36 hours). Critics quoted on the store include DualShockers, WayTooManyGames, and COG Connected, all scoring in the high 8s to 9. Use reviews as tone checks, then play: Walkthrough, Combat Tips, Achievements.
Calendar around the patch
- 8 July 2026: official August 18 date lock (see Release Date).
- 10 August 2026: Noir mode reveal, 125.4K wishlists cited by Brush.
- 18 August 2026: Out Now, Discord, Day One Updates / 1.0.3.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the current Twisted Tower version?
Day-one Steam news named build 1.0.3 as current and 1.0.4 as close behind. Recheck Steam after you patch.
Where should I report bugs?
The official Twisted Tower Discord, which Brush called the best inbox. Steam news on August 18 posted the invite.
Is there a detailed 1.0.3 changelog?
Not as an itemized public table. The developer said several fixes already shipped and asked everyone to update.
Does the intro discount change the build?
No. Pricing is a store offer. The client version is independent; always launch 1.0.3 or newer.
